Keewaydin - LT1192 visits Dunmore East

Classic yacht with a varied career sails on!
Built in 1913 as a trawler for Lowestoft owners, Keewaydin - LT1192
an eighty foot gaff ketch, has trawled the North Sea Banks, has
carried cargo in the Baltics and has served in both World Wars.
It circumnavigated the globe in the first Whitbread Round the World
Yacht Race in 1972 and is now employed in the holiday market.
Completely restored, Keewaydin provides crews the opportunity to
learn old skills and sail as it was done one hundred years ago.
